This week....

Dominic started watching Baby Einstein.

He got to play and work on his sitting with his cousin Gavin

and his friend, Andrew.
And Nana and Papa came for a sleepover.

Mornings

5 month pics

It only happens a couple of times a year that all of the cousins on either side are all together. This week was one of those occassions.

Sittin Up

Dominic's officially been sitting on his own for a couple of days now. Trying to post a video but having problems.

Camping

This weekend we went camping with friends for Brian's birthday.

The weather was great and the lake was beautiful. We had a lot of fun spending time with everyone. Dominic was loving all of the attention. Not sure how much everyone was loving him in the middle of the night though :) We had a rough time to say the least and tents aren't the best at containing noise.

Dominic is almost 5 months old now and we're loving this age! He loves cooing away to himself or to anyone around. He's very smiley and the giggling is the best. He's 15 lbs 6 oz. He started eating rice cereal a couple of weeks ago and has been doing pretty well. It looks like he'll be sitting on his own in no time, he can hold himself up now for a little while but then topples over slowly. He's been a big fan of his feet this last couple of weeks. Can't keep them out of his mouth, if he's laying down on his back he's most likely folded in half.

Mother's Day

We went up to Napa for brunch on Mother's Day. It was beautiful and a great way to celebrate my first Mother's Day.

Dominic and I are in San Diego this weekend visiting my best friend Mindy.

Big Boy

Brian got Dominic a new pair of shoes. I can't get over how old he looks in them. Our little baby is looking more and more like a little boy everyday.
It's not hard to tell when he's tired...he rubs his eyes until he's put down, it's pretty cute.

4 months

Hawk

It's been pretty hot this last weekend so Dominic's been lounging around in his diaper.

We went in the pool for the first time on Saturday. He loved it. Kicked and splashed the whole time. We've gone in several times since. This was from this morning, just dipping our feet in.

New Chair

Dominic's gonna start eating rice cereal soon, so we're getting ready. This is his new chair. He loves it. It'll be nice to be able to have him at the table with us for meals and great that it will occupy him when he's not eating.
We keep wondering if Dominic is teething early. He's been chewing on his hands and drooling like crazy these last few weeks, but none yet.

Happy Easter

Dominic is figuring out how the bouncer works. It's pretty funny watching his facial expressions as he realizes that moving his feet makes him go up and down.

Tubby

Dominic's cheeks are starting to fill out and the rolls are coming :)

Snow

Dominic got to see snow for the first time last weekend. We went up to Arnold with Beck, George and the boys. He got his first taste of Saturday morning cartoons in his pj's with his cousins

and watched some type of game with his Dad....like father, like son. Dominic and Gavin are starting to get a little bit more aware of eachothers company. They're pretty cute together. Daniel loved sledding.
