7 month pics

pure determination....Time is flying by fast. Dominic's scooting all over the place backwards. He has yet to officially crawl. I've been trying to soak up my last few weeks of being able to set him down and know he'll be in the same general location when I return to the room. That's quickly coming to an end though...there's no telling where he'll be. He still hasn't left whatever room I've left him in though, so that will be the next milestone. He still absolutely loves his bouncers, squeals and bounces like crazy the whole time he's in them. He's been eating more and more real food in addition to his cereals and baby foods, to Brian's dismay. I think he would prefer him to eat baby food forever so he'll never choke :) He's a great eater and I hope he stays that way. He can keep himself busy with his toys on the floor for a pretty long time. He loves to be read to and talked to. We definitely have a little chatter on our hands. He loves to see his cousins and just watch them circle around him, I think he's getting more and more anxious to join them now that Gavin is mobile as well, he's lost his little stationary buddy. Bath's are still a big hit, they just get more and more fun. The pool is a nightly favorite. It's been so nice and warm and we love taking dips when we get home from work. Dominic stands on the second step now and just holds onto our fingers. He dips his face in over and over again by himself and gasps each time he comes up. He's still a cuddler, which I love and hope doesn't change. He's constantly scratching at everything, and I mean everything wanting to feel different textures. We're pretty much at 3 naps a day transitioning down to 2 longer ones. He's starting to yell, both from happiness and frustration. He's a happy going little guy and I love watching his little personality develop more and more everyday.
