The Dominator & The Gavinator

Auntie Becky made the boys some cute onesies. They're starting to play more and more together. One always seems to have fingers in the other ones eyes.

Dominic has now mastered pulling himself up on furniture. If you're sitting on the couch this is the face you'll see popping up over and over again.

We have one very animated little boy, just thought this face was too funny. I can't get enough of his little gummy smile, no teeth yet.

We have a crawler...

It's more of an army crawl, but he's moving. He started the other night and hasn't stopped.

Dominic got a new 'bike' this week. I think he likes it :)
If you stick your tongue out at him he's consistently starting to do it back. It cracks us up every time. It's the funniest face, he looks like an old man with no teeth.

Already August

Can't believe August is already here...how has this year flown by so quickly?

7 month pics

pure determination....Time is flying by fast. Dominic's scooting all over the place backwards. He has yet to officially crawl. I've been trying to soak up my last few weeks of being able to set him down and know he'll be in the same general location when I return to the room. That's quickly coming to an end though...there's no telling where he'll be. He still hasn't left whatever room I've left him in though, so that will be the next milestone. He still absolutely loves his bouncers, squeals and bounces like crazy the whole time he's in them. He's been eating more and more real food in addition to his cereals and baby foods, to Brian's dismay. I think he would prefer him to eat baby food forever so he'll never choke :) He's a great eater and I hope he stays that way. He can keep himself busy with his toys on the floor for a pretty long time. He loves to be read to and talked to. We definitely have a little chatter on our hands. He loves to see his cousins and just watch them circle around him, I think he's getting more and more anxious to join them now that Gavin is mobile as well, he's lost his little stationary buddy. Bath's are still a big hit, they just get more and more fun. The pool is a nightly favorite. It's been so nice and warm and we love taking dips when we get home from work. Dominic stands on the second step now and just holds onto our fingers. He dips his face in over and over again by himself and gasps each time he comes up. He's still a cuddler, which I love and hope doesn't change. He's constantly scratching at everything, and I mean everything wanting to feel different textures. We're pretty much at 3 naps a day transitioning down to 2 longer ones. He's starting to yell, both from happiness and frustration. He's a happy going little guy and I love watching his little personality develop more and more everyday.

New Stool

Dominic's starting to move around more and more. We got him a stool to start pulling himself up on. He sits on it forever and just smiles away.

morning paper

We started getting the paper a couple of weeks ago. It's been becoming a Sunday morning tradition to discect through it with a big cup of coffee in hand. We both have a preferences on sections, Dominic's happy as can be with any :) He will crinkle away for ever on whatever part he gets and be content as ever while doing it.

4th of July

We had a great lazy 4th of July this year. We lounged by the pool all day and had such a good time. A few friends stopped by throughout the day and we ended the evening with a walk down to Becky, George, and the boys house where we got to spend a few hours and have a bbq with the fam.
