We went down to Santa Cruz for Mother's Day. It rained the whole way down and then was nice and sunny once we got there. We practically had the beach and the boardwalk to ourselves. Dominic loved playing in the sand and the waves. Brian loved having Dominic's huge 'truck' loaded with everything we might possible want or need, and I loved getting to spend the day with my family on the beach :) 
We finished the day with all of the cousins and Grandma and Grandpa and Auntie Tracy's and then a very sandy bath.
